RAW BEET JUICE: A POWERFUL way to LOWER Blood Pressure Naturally

Hypertension, or High blood pressure, is a health condition that presents itself when the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high, and stays high consistently. This condition affects 1 in 3 people in the United States. According to the Center for Disease control, nearly half of the adults in the United States, 47%, have hypertension. This is a staggering statistic, and nearly 20% of people with hypertension do not know they have it. Many people do not know they have high blood pressure as this health condition presents without any symptoms. This is why uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to stroke, heart disease, or a cardiovascular event, which are the leading causes of death in the United States.


Most doctors will prescribe blood pressure lowering medications along with diet and exercise to help treat high blood pressure. There are quite a few gems from nature that God has placed on Earth to help lower and stabilize blood pressure. One of those includes a red vegetable called beets. We may pass by beets in the grocery store, but beets are very beneficial in lowering blood pressure naturally. These red roots contain high levels of nitrates, which covert to nitric oxide in the digestive tract. Nitric oxide relaxes and widens blood vessels and this in turn lowers blood pressure. In fact, the effect is so rapid, you will begin to see results within an hour of consumption and the effects will remain for 24 hours. Studies have shown an average decrease in blood pressure by 8/4 mmHg. ( Link for study below)


Here are my personal results after drinking raw beet juice. I did not do this intentionally as I just wanted to blend them and enjoy the juice on this raw vegan fast. I do not have high blood pressure, however I did notice my blood pressure dropping a few points after having the beet juice. I had to share the results with you all. My blood pressure reading measured 102/76 at 8 am. I had some raw beet juice at 1:40 pm.

I took my blood pressure that night at it was 94/66. My blood pressure has never been this low and I decided to lower my consumption from one cup to 1/2 a cup whenever I blend beets.

I am the only one in my family not diagnosed with high blood pressure, proving that taking charge of your own health can move you past any genetic predisposition. We all have to battle culture, genetics, the food industry, environmental exposures, and literally the air we breathe. But nothing has to be outlined for you just because of your family history or generational background. You can define your own path and make a difference. When God is leading you in all areas of your life, the POWER within you is limitless. All we have to do it tap in.

1 to 2 medium beets sliced

1 cup of beet greens

1/2 of lemon squeezed

1 to 2 cups of water
