Being newlyweds is a phenomenal journey. My husband Ron and I enjoy spending time together. Whether it is doing a house project, cooking together, creating a film or book idea, or just playing video games. We love each and every moment. We made a commitment to each other to continue to date. Whether it is once a week, or once a month, we look forward to going out or even having dates at home. We were given this advice before we got married and we are sharing it with you. Continue to date!!!

It is so easy for life to get in the way and years go by without you both having a day or night to yourselves. It is even harder with children and familial responsibilities. Like everything else that is important in life you have to make the time for it.

Date night does not have to be complicated. It can be as simple as spending time at home. Relationships have to be nurtured every day and doing so keeps the love fresh and allows it to blossom every day. A watered tree has no choice but to grow and produce fruit. Stop watering your tree and what happens? Set a frequency for date night. Once a week, once a month, every 2 to 3 months, etc and stick with it. Whether you are married, engaged, in a relationship, or thinking of one, consider date night with your spouse or soon to be spouse.

Would love to hear how it works for you.
